Kurt Loft has been a professional writer for more than 40 years, serving as classical music critic and science editor for the Tampa Tribune from 1981 to 2008. He was a senior writer for PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2008 to 2021, when he retired to devote his time to freelance writing. In addition to stories for the Creative Pinellas Suncoast Arts Journal, Kurt writes program notes and blogs for The Florida Orchestra, the Palladium Theater, and Winter Park Bach Festival, as well as health-related stories for the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital.
