Sheila Cowley is a playwright and audio producer based in St. Petersburg FL. She leads the Sparks Collaborative Ensemble, a working group of artists diverse in age, gender identity, ethnicity, ability and artforms who create performance works together – and free illustrated audiobooks for kids of all abilities in English, in Spanish and in ASL on YouTube @SparksCreativeStories. This year Sparks is collaborating with Creative Clay’s visual and performing artists with disabilities and researchers at the USF College of Marine Science through the NEA Beyond Placemaking Grant.
