The City of Safety Harbor and Safety Harbor Art and Music Center collaborated on “Paint the Park” on Saturday, March 26 – with professional artists and community volunteers working together to create murals at the Ian Tilmann Skatepark. The project was sponsored by the Pinellas Community Foundation’s Social Justice Fund.

The creative team included muralist Beth Warmath and mosaic artist Heather Richardson.

The Ian Tilmann Skatepark was dedicated in 2007 in honor and memory of Ian Tilmann. The Ian Tilmann Foundation, Inc. continues to promote helmet use for the prevention of traumatic brain injuries by providing free helmets to skaters who promise to wear them. You can find out more here.
