Born in South America, Ricardo developed an interest in photography at a young age. Soon after relocating to the USA, he studied photography simultaneously with English. While he attended grad school at Iowa State University, Ricardo continued taking photography courses.
He began his journey with travel and architectural photography but eventually started to enjoy shooting portraits more. Right before moving to Florida in early 2018, he developed a passion for dance photography. Ricardo is currently the editorial photographer for Brandon Ballet and loves working with dancers all over the Tampa Bay Area.
He has also worked with dancers in South America and Eastern Europe. In the last two years, Ricardo has been exploring underwater photography with the help of local dancers and most recently a synchronized swimmer.
