Lorielle J. Hollaway is the founder of Cultured Books children’s bookstore and the Founding Director of the affiliated nonprofit Cultured Books Literacy Foundation. Lorielle’s professional career has centered upon informal literacy education, a passion that informs Cultured Books’core values to Cultivate Curiosity, Inspire Impact, be Dignity Driven, and be CommUNITYCommitted.
Since Cultured Books Literacy Foundation’s inception in 2018, Lorielle, with the support of the CBLF board and passionate community collaborators, has brought books to life through family-centered programs like; Read About It, The Art of Literacy pop-up gallery, and ArtistResidency, BLC: Breakfast. Literacy. Community, SLC: Skate. Literacy. Community and community favorite St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest, an annual celebration of all things literacy hosted on the first Saturday of November.
