While I insist on Philadelphia as my hometown (go Birds), the fact is my wife Jaye and I have thrived in Florida for 40 years. We raised our children here, made friends for life here. I have invested in our greater community as a youth coach and guardian ad litem volunteer.
My career has been storytelling. From 1984 to 2011, I was an editor at the Tampa Bay Times (sports, metro, Tampabay.com). From 2011 to 2022, I was content director for VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official tourism marketing organization.
My wife and I believe in the arts and their power to unite and inspire. I am honored to serve on this board.
