Considered a “creative colorist” Susan Hess’ work reveals immediately her passion for color. A resident of Madeira Beach, Florida she creates interpretive impressions of people, places, and nature in encaustic wax and mixed media. Susan graduated from Marywood College with a BA in Fine Arts.
She paints and exhibits her work at ArtLofts Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her work has been included in numerous regional and national exhibits. She is a member of the International Encaustic Artists and Florida Wax.
