Jodi Fuchs is an award winning contemporary abstract painter who relocated to St. Petersburg FL in 2022. She is a self taught artist who began as a scenic painter for film, tv and high end residences while living in Los Angeles. Her interest in metaphysical studies (meditation, yoga, Feng Shui, energy healing) inspires her work. Fuchs’ studio practice is an active endeavor to “make the invisible seen”. Her paintings have appeared on 100’s of tv and film sets, 100k wine labels, as well as in home decor retail outlets and hospitality settings globally. Having lived in many different places, the artist uses her immediate environment to inform color choices, words and symbols. The themes of chaos and stillness and the reconciliation of these opposing forces often appear in her lyrical abstractions.
