Kathy Reilly pushes the boundaries of traditional art by taking photos of ordinary objects, transforming them with digital enhancements, and then reflecting them into intricate, ornate patterns. She calls this collective, Reflections of the Universe, with a focus on Earth’s botanicals for Creative Pinellas. She also creates artworks from opensource imagery of celestial objects. She is a hybrid artist immersed in the arts/sciences and has worked for NASA for over 20 years. Through her botanical work to her cosmic explorations, her art serves as a bridge between Earth’s beauty and the infinite wonders of space, sparking curiosity and awe.
