Jorge Jaime Montoya AKA “Japografo”, is a Colombian visual artist based in Tampa, Florida, where he has lived for nearly five years. With a background in graphic design and over 15 years of experience in photography, Jorge blends both disciplines through mixed media art that reflects his roots, punk attitude, and deep connection to urban and DIY culture.
His work spans design, photography, and video editing, often infused with emotion, irony, and raw street aesthetics. Influenced by tattoo art, 90s alternative music, and everyday stories, Jorge’s art captures a raw and honest view of what it means to be a migrant, an artist, and an observer of modern chaos.
