Alice Pickett Lewis began sewing at a very young age. She has a BFA in Textile Design from Rhode Island School of Design. She is inspired by the colors and textures in the natural world, and is currently working to honor the old native oak trees lost in the recent hurricanes. She works in multi media, fabric based, but including photography, painting, quilting, embroidery and applique. She is represented at Florida Craft Art gallery and has a small showroom at her residence.
