Adela Salas

Adela Salas is a visual artist, muralist, sculptor, and designer born in Santiago, Chile. She earned her BFA from Florida Atlantic University and has since cultivated a multidisciplinary art practice that merges painting, muralism, and sculpture. At the core of her work is a deep commitment to storytelling—each piece acting as a visual narrative that explores identity, healing, and transformation.

Adela’s artistic voice is characterized by vivid colors, surreal creatures, fluid lines, and organic shapes that blend together in dreamlike compositions. Her works are filled with symbolism, drawing from personal experience, Chilean cultural influences, and a curiosity about the human condition. Through both two- and three-dimensional forms, she captures emotions and ideas that speak to universal themes while maintaining an intimate, introspective tone.

As a visual storyteller, Adela uses her art to create dialogue, spark reflection, and invite viewers into layered emotional landscapes. Her murals and sculptures often inhabit unconventional or public spaces, where they become part of the community’s visual language—encouraging connection and transformation in everyday places.

Adela is passionate about transforming public and unexpected spaces through murals and installations. She believes in art as a form of intervention—capable of inspiring reflection and connection within communities.

Currently based in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she creates and exhibits her work. Adela has developed projects across the Americas, with ongoing collaborations in Chile and Mexico, maintaining a cross-cultural practice that continues to evolve. Her art is a dreamy invitation to feel, to wonder, and to get beautifully lost in the story.
