Brigitte Coovert has lived in Florida most of her life and currently resides in Pinellas county. When not in her studio space, she can be wandering around local museums, spending time with her family, and fawning over her cats. A self-taught artist, her work explores the lingering impact that illness and trauma have on the mind and body of the individual.
