Marilynne was a creative child who grew up on the New Jersey Shore, where natural elements played a huge part in her development. She relocated to Tampa Bay, Florida, after graduating with a degree in Studio Art/Education. This led to a 30-year career in education with Pinellas County schools. She has studied with many professional artists, always exploring new mediums, to grow professionally. After retiring, Marilynne focused full-time on her art, entering local and international art exhibits and winning numerous awards. She is a member of Studio 1212. She has served for the past decade on the Boards of the Miniature Art Society of Florida and the Professional Association of Visual Artists.
