Ángel Rivera-Morales is originally from the Caimito, a vicinity on the southern outskirts of San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 1999, he entered the University of Puerto Rico where he obtained a degree in Bachelor’s degree in Humanities with a concentration in Fine Arts. From 2006 to 2012, his works were exhibited in various art galleries and museums around the island. At this time a considerable number of his works were acquired by private collectors, marking the beginning of a consistent career as a visual artist. In 2012, Angel moved to Central Florida where for years he has established his practice as an artist and cultural manager. As part of this administration, he has directed projects of collective and individual exhibitions among which “La Diaspora” and “Custodians of the Inheritance”. Some of these projects have been featured in museums in cities like Chicago, Ocala, and Orlando. In 2021 Angel began his studies for a Master of Visual Arts at Jacksonville University. He currently combines his artistic practice and self-management practice as an art teacher in the Osceola School District.

En 1999, ingreso a la Universidad de Puerto Rico donde obtuvo un grado de bachillerato en Humanidades con una concentración en Bellas Artes.. Desde 2006 hasta 2012, sus obras se exhibieron en varias galerías de artey museos alrededor de la isla. En esta época una considerable cantidad de obras pasó a formar parte de colecciones privadas marcando el inicio de una consistente trayectoria como artista visual.En el 2012, Ángel se mudó a Florida Central donde por años ha establecido su práctica de artista y gestorcultural. Como parte de esta gestión ha dirigido proyectos de exhibiciones colectivas e individuales entrelos que destacan “La Diáspora” y “Custodios de la herencia”. Algunos de estos proyectos han sido presentados en museos en ciudades como Chicago, Ocala y Orlando. En el 2021 Angel comenzó sus estudios de Maestría en Artes Visuales en Jacksonville University. Actualmente combina su práctica artística y de autogestión ejerciendo como maestro de arte en el Distrito Escolar de Osceola.
