A native Brooklynite, Sharlene Emmanuel Edwards wears many hats, all of which involve working with others in an incredibly uplifting way. Sharlene’s cultural view has been shaped not only by her more than 19 years’ experience in public health, education, community health and public speaking, but also by her strong Caribbean roots. She is currently CEO of My Better Living Health and Wellness, LCC; CEO of Power Plug Radio and Ent. Corp., and also the Executive Nursing Director of #Theburgcares nonprofit organization. Her passion for helping people is evident in each of these extremely positive works. However, even more undeniable is her passion for the local arts and the artists who create them.
