Katie Pavone (American, born July 1972) is a visual artist based in Clearwater, Florida. The focus of her art is to intuitively combine vintage and discarded items with more traditional and newer ephemeral supplies to show that there is beauty in everything. Her medium of choice is mixed media collage and assemblage while also exploring with acrylic paint, watercolor, pastels, encaustic and other mixed media.
Growing up in Dunedin, FL, taking regular art classes as a kid and being surrounded by art, she has maintained a life long passion for art and creativity and tries to incorporate it in every aspect of her life. She loves that art connects individuals, allows them the opportunity to say things where words are hard to find and encourages creative thinking and feelings. Currently, she is finding repeating pattens in her art and is exploring ways to create various series that speak to these patterns and their meaning in her life and to others.
She has shown throughout Pinellas County, FL and has collectors across the country.
