Amanda Sieradzki (MFA is dance faculty at the University of Tampa. She is the founder and artistic director of Poetica, a creative dance company that moves at the intersection of contemporary dance, poetry, and community. Her company has premiered choreographies in venues across the southeast. Amanda has created work for the Tampa Museum of Art, the Scarfone-HartleyGallery, Moving Current’s New Grounds Festival, Tallahassee’s 621 Gallery, FEMME fest Atlanta, the Decatur Arts Festival, and the Atlanta Fringe Festival. Additionally, she is a feature writer for Creative Pinellas’ Arts Coast Journal, the Tallahassee Council on Culture & Arts, DIY dancer Magazine, & Arts ATL. Amanda holds an MFA in choreography and performance from Florida State University and a BA in writing with an applied dance minor from the University of Tampa.
