The Arts Annual 2022 continues Friday with artist tours and talks throughout the day. These opportunities allow us to celebrate the artists in the Arts Coast while learning more about the artists and their processes.

Neverne Covington’s has drawn and painted since her childhood. Growing up in the South, with its resplendent light and verdant landscape, botanical diversity has been and endless source on inspiration for her work. Jim Gigurtsis

My artwork focuses on existence, consciousness, and our relation to them. At times I also take a critical view on social, political and cultural issues and how they impact the human condition. The most recent work relates to themes of mortality, decay and re-generation and loss and pain. My preferred medium in painting is oils. Emily Lee Stehle is a Clearwater, FL-based mixed media artist specializing in fiber art who strives to make beautiful things out of discards. An ever-evolving creative basket maker, she began weaving traditional baskets more than 20 years ago learning from books and local weavers.
