See Our Spring Lealman Public Art Projects Blossom

The latest crop of vibrant public art projects made by the partnership between Creative Pinellas and Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) have blossomed, bringing more color and creativity to the area’s streets and businesses.

After responding to a call for entries, Frankie G was selected to paint a massive, approximately 900 square foot mural on the exterior wall of a local business, located at 5675 34th St. N.

“Thank you Creative Pinellas for the opportunity to bring this idea to life and bring some new artwork for the community to enjoy along with all the other talented artists selected for these projects,” said Frankie G.

Titled, “Where Good Things Grow,” the mural is a banner of placemaking, prominently featuring the word Lealman, while a cool purple alligator — wearing sunglasses and a button down shirt decorated with a bee pattern — lounges nearby.
