The time has finally come. I attended so many events downtown, and I admired the artists who were bringing their own tent and selling their work. A couple months back I posted on a local Facebook group, asking for a studio space. I did not end up finding a studio space, but I got so many other opportunities from it. A lady reached out to me, and asked me to participate to a local event as a vendor on March 19th, 2022.
Historic Roser Park Tour of Homes and Porchfest
During this event, in the morning, “visitors will have the opportunity to tour the inside of a selection of St. Petersburg’s most historic homes with architectural styles ranging from Spanish Revival to Craftsman to Dutch Colonial for a ticketed price. In the afternoon, several homes will host a diverse mix of artists performing simultaneously, as neighbors and friends gather under the oak trees, porches become center stage, and concert lawn takes on a new meaning. Vendors, craftsmen, and food trucks will be available. This community-focused event supports local musicians and the Historic Roser Park Neighborhood Association” (retrieved from website).
Shop at My Tent!
I am so excited that I will be setting up my own tent for the very first time. I will be able to connect with people, show my work and have a good time. During these last couple weeks I have been preparing the work I will be showing, as well as packaging and signing original prints.
Since March is Women’s History Month, I decided to bring my Nude Collection for this event. I will have a couple of originals in display and for sale, and prints available for purchase.
I will also bring postcards, as well as prints of a small painting series I did last summer. The colors are bright, fun and they make great gifts!
Hopefully, I will see you there! I will be there from 9am to 6pm. If you cannot make it to the event, but want to purchase a print and support me, you can find all the prints available on my website.
