Sami Mangione is a dancer, choreographer and somatic educator based in St Petersburg, Florida. Sami studied dance at the University of Florida, with a certification in Dance in Health. Sami has danced with Sarasota Contemporary Dance Ensemble and Phoenix Fire & Performance Art, and works as a freelance performer and choreographer. She has performed the choreography of Bill T. Jones & Arnie Zane, Rennie Harris, Dante Puleio, Leymis Bolaños Wilmott and Xiao-Xuan Yang Dancigers.
Her original choreography has been shown at Harn Museum of Art, Bates Dance Festival, Sarasota Contemporary Dance and The HAT Theatre, with an upcoming presentation the Dali Museum in Fall of 2026. Sami holds specialized certifications in Functional Awareness, pilates, yoga and Dance in Medicine and regularly teaches workshops and classes to her local community.
