A few weeks ago, I won a pitch competition for Black On The Scene, hosted by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc, Tampa Bay Chapter. This wasn’t my first pitch, as I competed in St. Pete Pitch Night hosted by Greenhouse St. Pete late last year. Although I did not win in my previous pitch competition, I gained insight on my weaknesses. Ultimately, this really helped me make improvements and instilled a confidence in me when speaking about my company.
