Jason Harvin Brightens Up Pinellas County Tax Collector’s St. Pete Office With Public Art

Jason Harvin's "Pinellas hARTbeat" mural features the city's iconic landmarks.

Pinellas County Tax Collector follows up on their successful 2024 mural partnership with Creative Pinellas to install a new, four-panel mural in 2025 for the benefit of their visitors at the 34th Street location. Jason Harvin of Wayward Walls & Interiors captured the spirit of St. Pete in his masterful work, featuring iconic imagery of the St. Pete Pier and the city’s beloved pelicans.

“Our organization is always exploring new ways to support our community, and this mural project is a fantastic example,” said Tax Collector Adam Ross. “The design created by local artist Jason Harvin of Wayward Walls truly represents St. Petersburg. It’s a great addition to our South County office, and I hope our customers enjoy it. We have two offices now that are decorated with the beautiful landscapes of Pinellas County, and thank you to Creative Pinellas for connecting our organization with another great local artist.”

In addition to this mural project, the tax collector’s office supports the arts through their Kids Tag Art Pinellas program, which raises funds for local elementary art classrooms. Find more info at pinellastaxcollector.gov/kidstagart
