Yoga at the Dali
Start your day in zen with some breathing techniques, downward facing dog and everyoneäó»s favorite pose (read: my favorite) Shavasana with hosts Lucky Cat Yoga Studio in the surrealist space of the Dali Museum. Star Wars and the Power of Costume
If you a true Star Wars geek/nerd/fan youäó»ve probably already seen this traveling exhibit currently at the Museum of Fine Arts, but no judgment if you havenäó»t. More than 60 costumes are on display, including the sketches and stories that led to such iconic creations. So yeah, you can see Princess Leiaäó»s bikini, plus all the other iconic pieces, in the flesh. Fyi, for all of you cosplayers, costumes are allowed but please leave your lightsabers and the like at home.

Dressing the Best: The Story of Ann Lowe, America’s First African American Fashion Designer
In celebration of the start of Black History month, decorative arts historian Margaret Powell will hold a lecture discussing the first noted African American fashion designer Ann Lowe at the University of Tampaäó»s Plant Museum.æLowe started her career in the 1920s in Tampa and moved on to design a little ivory something that Jackie O wore when she married JFK in 1953. Not too shabby.æ In conjunction, three of Loweäó»s dresses will be on display in the museumäó»s current exhibit Gasparilla: A Tampa Tradition.

Good Morning Vietnam and The Squareæ
The newly restored Tampa Theatre is showing an afternoon matinee of the late great Robin Williamsäó»s classic Good Morning Vietnaas part of their Totally äó»80s series. The critically acclaimed dramedy garnered one of Williamsäó»s four Oscar nominations portraying real-life Armed Forces Radio Service DJ Adrian Cronauer.
Stick around, for the only area showing of Ruben Ostlundäó»s The Square, nominated for a Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, and winner of the Palme d’Or at 2017äó»s Cannes Film Festival. The theatre’s brand new seats should prove comfy enough for a double feature.

St. Pete Beach Seafood and Music Festival
Fest season is pretty much all year round here, but seafood and good music is a combo no one can deny. Crab claws, please! Many area musicians will be providing jams while you nosh and check out art vendors including bluesmanæRJ Howson, the funky soul of The Black Honkeys Band and local rock favorites The Greg Billings Band. The Tempest
If the Bard is more your taste, Jobsite Theatreäó»s production of The Tempest is getting pretty noticeable attention.æDirected by local theater legend David M. Jenkins, this production reimagines Prospero as a woman, played forcefully by Roxanne Fay, who was awarded ouræProfessional Artist Fellowship in 2017. The dramedy, way before it’s time, is a magical production where a woman can be anything and no one even mentions football. Sounds like a perfect world.
