Artist Gianna Pergamo participates in the Creative Pinellas Emerging Artist Discussion
This past Thursday I participated in the Creative Pinellas Emerging Artist Panel. This talk was supposed to take place in person, but because of COVID-19 we had to have it virtually. This was unfortunate in some ways, but perhaps got us larger reach to all the people at home. All of the artists were included with moderation/question asking by Danny Olda. To be honest I was quite nervous before and during the discussion – I love talking, but talking to a group of people has always given me anxiety. However, I feel like it went well and I really enjoyed virtually “meeting” my fellow emerging artists. It was really nice to be able to see some of their work, and to see not just pictures of the artists but actually hear them talk.
I’m looking forward to the Emerging Artist show, both the virtual one on May 14 as well as the physical one we have hopefully in the fall! I need to finish my pieces!!
