Leslie Neumann is a landscape painter, dedicated to preserving Florida’s wetlands. After relocating from New York City to Aripeka, Florida, Leslie Neumann and other members of her community, became active environmentalists, facilitating the preservation of more than 15,000 coastal acres coastal in the past 29 years. These wetlands surround Neumann’s home and studio and serve as a source of inspiration for her artwork.
Eve Mosher is an artist and cultural change entrepreneur working at the frontlines of climate change and the urban environment. She is best known for her public art installation HighWaterLine, which premiered in New York City in 2007. HighWaterLine is a public art project in which the artist used a baseball field line machine to draw a 4″ blue chalk line on the ground, marking predicted water level rise due to climate change.
