AMPED Exhibition Submission Guidelines

Eligibility: Artists must reside in Pinellas or Hillsborough County and be 18 years old or older.

Guidelines: While there’s not an official required theme, the show is a celebration that Creative Pinellas is still thriving. Artists are welcome to submit works that denote excitement and/or the idea of flourishing. We’re looking for original works of art produced in the past two years that haven’t been previously shown at a Creative Pinellas exhibition. This includes visual art, performance and film. Performances will only happen during the opening night reception and fundraiser.

Visual Artist Guidelines for Submission:

  • Image files must be named: Artist Name_Title
  • Please double-check the information you enter, since it will be used directly for your artwork labels.
  • Artists may submit a maximum of three individual works of art for consideration.
  • Artwork must be of original design and personal execution, completed within the last two years and not previously shown in a Creative Pinellas exhibition.
  • Please do not submit photos of any work in progress. Please submit only photos of finished artwork.
  • Please only submit one artwork per file.

Criteria for Work Accepted: Works cannot exceed a weight of 100lbs.

  • Two-dimensional works must be wired or fitted with D-rings (no sawtooth hangers, please).
  • Three-dimensional works should include all special installation instructions and be accompanied by all required hardware.
  • Paintings must be dry at the time of delivery.
  • Works framed with glass cannot be accepted—please use plexi or acrylic.
  • Works must be ready for installation upon arrival. Any works delivered that are not deemed ready for installation will be rejected.

Commission: Creative Pinellas will retain a 50% commission on sales.

Additional Information if Selected
  • Sales and Commission – Creative Pinellas retains a 50% commission on artwork sold during the exhibition. Artists will receive payment for sales by December 15, 2026.
  • Insurance and Shipping – All artwork will be insured for 50% of the retail price while on display at Creative Pinellas. If you are shipping work, please note that artists are responsible for shipping to and from FloridaRAMA, as well as insuring work while in transit. Artists are also responsible for any packaging, storage, or transport costs after the pickup deadline. Artwork left more than 30 days after the pickup period will become the property of Creative Pinellas.

Filmmaker Submission Guidelines

  • Submit up to 3 films maximum for consideration.
  • Films may be submitted as shorts, video series, or excerpts from longer works.
  • Preferred run time of a film is approximately 10 minutes.
  • Accepted films will be presented on individual screens with headphones so that visitors can experience them fully. We will provide headphones so that visitors can be immersed in your work without being distracted by or a distraction to others in the Gallery. All films submitted and accepted will be shown on their own screen.
  • Work must be of original design and personal execution, completed within the last two years and not previously shown at Creative Pinellas.
  • Upload an mp4 or mov file for curatorial review.

Musician, Composer, Performer Submission Guidelines

  • Musicians, composers, and performers may submit one video or one audio sample of their proposed work and specify your genre (e. g., rock, classical, spoken word, dance, barbershop quartet, etc.).
  • Submit your video or audio sample in the style and arrangement of how you intend the work to be presented.
  • The work may be original or may be in an original form from a previously produced production (assuming the Artist has permissions).
  • Selected performances will take place only once: at the Opening Reception on Sept. 5, 2026.
