Trashy Treasures at Dunedin Fine Art Center

Reports are that this year’s Trashy Treasures will be the biggest ever. This annual fundraiser for the Dunedin Fine Art Center is a much loved “art garage sale.”
People donate artworks and art supplies – then DFAC offers selections for sale by silent auction for three weeks, starting on Valentine’s Day and continuing through the Best of Trashies pARTy on Friday, March 4 from 6 – 8 pm.
Everything that’s left is priced to sell at a first-come-first-served event on Saturday, March 5, followed by “Extreme Mark-Down Sunday.”

“This is a great opportunity for art lovers to start a collection, or add to an existing one,” says DFAC. And artists can find bargains on art supplies including frames, canvases, paints, beads and more.
The online Auction starts today, with items closing out each Sunday night and a whole new Auction starting every Monday at noon for the three weeks leading up to the in-person finale at Dunedin Fine Art Center the weekend of March 4-6.
