Old School Rocket

Old School Rocket

One challenging sculpture that I made recently was the “Old School Rocket”. The piece was 11 feet tall and included LED lights that could be seen in the port hole window and could be seen on the bottom. In addition, the piece included over 1,000 rivets.

Creating the body took me a significant amount of time. In addition, the  commission challenged me to learn a new tool to complete the project. It turned out just as spectacular as I envisioned.

Locals were able to come out and view the rocket at my show opening Under the Sea to the Moon at Swartz Gallery in Pinellas Park.
