Life as a musician during Covid

These last several weeks have been a whirlwind of more webinars on droplets; how long do they stay in the air, what is the safest amount of time one can spend in a room with a student, barriers or no barriers, bell cover, masks, and the list goes on.  As we all learn more on the precautions to take, the more questions we all have.

As arts organizations make decisions on the future, one thing is for sure; things will be different this year.  My orchestra; The Venice Symphony has decided, like so many other orchestras, to postpone their season by an entire year.  An entire year!  When will this stop, when will we all be back to normal and what is normal?  In the meantime, what do us musicians do?  Well practice of course.
