Homemade Conversations with Homemade Desserts
My Name is Frederick “ Rootman” Woods, and I am honored to be one of the recipients for the Professional Artists Grant. My intention is to create an event around healing and art.
I am Reiki Master, Spiritual Life Coach, and Theta Healer. At the age of 12, my talent as an artist emerged organically. My brother bought me my first painting set, and without any painting lessons, it was clear that my connection to my Higher Source was my inspiration.
My superpower is telling stories on canvas with paints and pencils. I refer to my artwork as “Art for the Soul.”
The grant money will be utilized for a variety of purposes, one of which is to create a video blog. The content will include conversations with artists, healers, and lightworkers, and how they are stepping into being “creators” on their spiritual paths.
The title of the video blog is “Homemade Conversations with the Rootman.” The idea is to have discussions around spirituality and art, and the energetic exchange that occurs as we create a piece of artwork or as we do healing work. Both are intrinsically connected. In my own personal journey, as I have painted, I have healed. And as a healer, as my clients have healed, I have healed. These videos will demonstrate the power of healing inside of all of us.
