Congratulations to all the GSFTA participants and faculty!!!! We all survived three weeks of virtually teaching and really knocked it out of the park!
The virtual Double Reed Ensemble was amazing! I laid out the click track, recorded the english horn part and parts of the oboe sections to help the students line up their parts. It cam out amazingly well! I could not be more proud.
Now that GSFTA festival is complete, i can concentrate on my reed orders and practicing for what I hope will be a fall faculty recital at The University of South Florida. I was able to perform with the Gainesville Symphony this last weekend, and it was so amazing to be back with friends making live music on stage. I never imagined a world without live music and I hope we can get back to performing soon!!!!!
