A Musician’s Life Part VI

According to my calculations, it is Week 11 of the Pandemic.  As we enter Phase 2 of lessening the quarantine regulations, I am inspired to get back to some kind of routine.  With this in mind, I have begun to plan performing projects for the fall!

Before the COVID19 pandemic hit our area, my trio had obtained a grant to perform in public schools.  We had done several concerts but had many more that had to be cancelled.  I am hoping we can get back to performing in the schools in the fall.

Next week begins my annual teaching at The Governors School for the Arts in Murfreesboro Tennessee.  I feel very fortunate the Governors School was not cancelled but moved to a virtual festival.  This festival runs for three weeks til the end of June.  With the pandemic, I have learned so much about teaching virtually, but The Governors School has forced me to learn what google has to offer, including google classroom, google drive, and google docs.  I am convinced that I am a better teacher because of this pandemic!!!!!
