I am a visual artist, based in Tampa Bay. My fascination with patterns, since childhood-such as observing the rows of pastries in a bakery case, the tracks left by sea turtles, wind ripples on sand dunes, and all other Turing structures-has inspired me to capture the spectacle of unique forces and the imprint they leave behind.
Using many layers of thin acrylic paint, I depict the synergy of patterns and color composition. The bold colors capture the viewer’s attention, inviting a closer examination, where the line work brings to mind something familiar. These interpretations of the beauty and magic of the natural world are both delicate and detailed.
