Alyssa Sotelo is a hybrid poetry and nonfiction writer. She has a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and is currently attending the MFA program at University of South Florida. Her poetry and articles have been featured in The Artisan & Creative Pinellas Arts Coast Magazine. Her writing explores borderlands, specifically the migration crisis at the US-Mexico Border, and her Latina identity. Alyssa is currently working on an essay collection about the body, identity, and binaries as she explores these subjects in the borderlands where she grew up.
