Creative Pinellas has partnered with the Lealman neighborhood CRA on a project to bring art and high-quality art experiences to the community and on using the power of art to help build community pride and energy.
This is a plan that will bring multiple painted murals to the walls of businesses and community buildings. Our first two are being painted on a warehouse building on 28thstreet, and at the Lealman Exchange.
The artists for the first two murals have already been chosen. They are Cheryl “Jujmo” Weber for the Warehouse at 28th Street N and Leo Gomez for Lealman Exchange!
Cheryl “Jujmo” Weber completed the Desert Landscape mural this October! See the before and after pictures below!
Leo Gomez has started the newest mural at Lealman Exchange and will be working through mid December – we’ll update as the project is complete!
