Exploring

 

I have recently challenged myself to use certain colors that are not normally in my palette for a new piece I was starting. As an artist I think that it is easy to get comfortable with ways you normally do things, but within this grant period I want to explore and push the boundaries of my work while sticking to my artistic voice. Red is always a color I have stayed away from but I have made myself explore the ways I can use the color within the bright and vibrant palette my work usually consists of.
