Memorial at Creative Pinellas Remembers Those Lost to Pandemic
Now at the Gallery at Creative Pinellas, artist Cathy Tobias created a memorial to reflect on those we’ve lost the COVID-19 pandemic. In the memorial, Tobias represents each life lost in Florida to COVID-19 with a ribbon. The death toll now over 39,000, the memorial stretches over 1,000 feet long. We take a look at the installation of this memorial and the moving opening event as people remember loved ones they’ve lost.
