This grant has definitely provided the support necessary to propel forward in Pinellas with my art. So whats next?
I’ve been invited to display my work in a group show at MIZE gallery opening on June 19th. The show is titled Don’t Ask. Do Tell, an Lgbtqia exhibition Curated by Kurt Piazza & Chad Mize.
I’m also working on several private commissions this summer and an online course on abstract painting through Udemy which I will share on social when its up and running.
And for next summer (July 2021), I’ve been awarded a month long artist in residence at Maine College of Art in Portland Maine to work on a project combining visual art and music. Lots to look forward to!
I’ve been so pleased to get to know the staff at Creative Pinellas and I hope we get to work together again in some way in the future. I love this community and feel very optimistic about my career here as an artist.
