. . .

St. Petersburg artist Bob Barancik shared images from his new series of mixed-media acrylic ink paintings on museum clay board, artwork that grew from his concerns about Red Tide.

He acknowledges that his interpretation on an environmental crisis translates into beautiful, colorful work. “Ironically, they were inspired by the catastrophic mix of global warming and organic wastes that are fouling our seas.”

Barancik credits his collaborators, photographer and photo mixed media artist Michael Conway and the print-making studio of Alfstad& Editions.

“Michael Conway has helped me realize over 100 digital print designs over the last 4 years. He provided both excellent Photoshop consultation and printing services.”
