Source of All Hair, Wearer of All Socks, an exhibition by Nigerian Sri Lankan artist Sam Modder, presents larger-than-life Black female figures in fantastical realms that blend childhood wonder with themes of power and resilience. Through digitally manipulated, mural-sized drawings, Modder’s work reimagines oppressive structures, inviting viewers to reflect on resistance and strength.
