As our community recovers from Hurricane Helene, many families and individuals are in urgent need of basic supplies to clean and restore their homes, as well as essential items for their pets.
To help support those affected, we are organizing a donation drive with multiple drop-off locations across the county. Below, you’ll find a list of suggested cleaning supplies and pet items needed, along with the locations where donations can be made. Your generosity can make a significant difference as we work together to rebuild.
People are encouraged to donate the following items:
Pet Supplies:
- Cans of cat and dog food
- Unopened bags of cat and dog food
- Unopened containers of cat litter
- New or gently used pet beds, carriers, and blankets
- New pet toys and food/water bowls
- Gift certificates to pet supply stores
Cleaning Supplies:
- Contractor Bags
- Unused mops, scrub brushes, and brooms
- Cleaning supplies, bleach, vinegar, and mitigation products
- Gloves, sanitizer, wipes, etc.
- Gently used towels and linens
