As an independent curator, Gibson creates exhibits for galleries, art organizations, and in alternative spaces. She received an Individual Artist Award from St Petersburg Arts Alliance for her Drive-by Window Project, an ArtsUp Grant from Creative Pinellas as curator of Tongue & Groove, and most recent, a Gobioff Foundation Microgrant as curator of Strength of Character. Gibson is an occasional writer for Bay Art Files and other publications as requested.
