Description
The Dalí Museum cares for and shares an expertly curated collection of Salvador Dalí works, including art from every moment and in every medium of his career. Located on the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg, this museum boasts one of the largest and most renowned collections of Dalí’s work outside his native Spain, serving as a cultural beacon in the Tampa Bay area and beyond.
In addition to exhibiting pieces from its unparalleled permanent collection of more than 2,000 Dalí works, the museum hosts special exhibitions from the art world’s most celebrated names, including Kahlo, Duchamp and Picasso. The Dalí offers a variety of unique community programming including free films, curatorial lectures, poetry readings and opera performances. They also provide educational programs like InnovationLabs at The Dalí and the Junior Docent Art Program.
The Dalí is the only museum in the Southeastern U.S. to receive a Michelin Guide three-star rating.
