For nearly two decades, St. Petersburg Opera (SPO) has woven its unique thread into the region’s cultural fabric providing artistically significant events throughout the Tampa Bay Area. Each season, SPO produces fully staged operas, children’s operas, musical theater performances, and various musical programs throughout the Tampa Bay community.

Beyond their dedication to presenting world-class operatic and musical theatre productions, SPO offers educational initiatives that include an award-winning emerging artist program and partnerships with local schools to provide in-depth and interactive arts education for students.
