SAGES (Senior Actors Guild & Education Services) is a nonprofit, touring community theater company that celebrates positive aging by presenting original “Plays with Purpose” to the public for free. SAGES partners with first responders to raise awareness on safety issues like fall prevention, stopping scams, and driving safely. SAGES produces a new play every year, highlighting seniors in the lead roles, and brings their shows to different cities for one matinee only. By entertaining and educating the public with their humorous, real-to-life plays, SAGES shines a spotlight on key topics that encourage discussion and turn audiences into advocates.
