Bonnie J Hacker is an emerging artist who lives in Dunedin, Florida. She has dabbled in creative explorations since childhood. After a lengthy career as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, and raising two children as a single adoptive parent, Bonnie is now devoting more time to her own creative pursuits. Her primary background has been in jewelry, paper and mixed media arts and in the past two years she has expanded into quilting and fiber arts. It is in this blending of a variety of approaches, that she feels she has found her sweet spot and the freedom to color outside the lines. Her fiber piece, Remnants of a Lost Civilization received a Blue Ribbon in Viewer’s Choice Decor at the 2023 Quilter’s Crossing Guild Show. Quilted Archimedes’ Garden (retitled) received a Blue Ribbon in Surface Design at the 2024 Florida State Fair.
