Ajori B. Spencer is the PK-12 Performing Arts Specialist for Pinellas County Schools, the eighth largest school district in the State of Florida, where he oversees music, theatre, and dance programs. He holds degrees in music education from Florida State University and educational leadership from the University of West Florida. Prior to his work as performing arts supervisor, he was Director of Bands at Madeira Beach Fundamental School and Pinellas Park Middle School.
Furthermore, Mr. Spencer is the Co-Founder and Partner, Client Success, of True Change Alliance, LLC. This role reflects his deep commitment to equity work, ignited by witnessing systemic inequities in both education and the greater society. He brings a passion for mentorship, project management, and organizational development to empower leaders in dismantling barriers to true change.
Mr. Spencer remains active as a guest presenter, conductor, and clinician throughout Florida and as a private saxophone instructor. His expertise in both the performing arts and equity leadership exemplifies his dedication to fostering growth and excellence across diverse professional landscapes.
