Sea Life
A family trip to the Florida Keys ignited another passion of mine for the ocean and sea life. We took a week long family trip to Marathon in the Florida Keys and spent much of the time snorkeling and fishing. I was fascinated by the trip and upon my return I began painting sea life. My wife and I decided to become certified to scuba dive and soon I became hooked on spearfishing. Many weekends and summers we were spent out on the water on our boat. Soon I began welding fish sculptures. Below is one of the first steel grouper fish I ever created. My sculptures have evolved and have been refined over the years but I am still enjoy making sea life sculptures and spending time out on the water.
